Who it’s for

Designed for those who have met the requirement of a minimum of three months of formal training by a licensed dentist in the state of Florida, are currently employed in a dental office, and are looking to gain their Expanded Functions Certification. Dental Assistants with Expanded Functions are able to perform many delegable duties within the Dental Office.

How it works…

Completion of the 1 day class will require:

1. Attendance
2. Passing of a written exam with at least 75%
3. Meeting of clinical core competencies:
   1. 1. Alginate impressions
      2. Radiographs
      3. Chair-side assisting
      4. Temporary fabrication

Radiology Certification is offered and part of tuition, AIDA will help the student file appropriate paperwork with the state.
