PRE-DENTAL EFDA PROGRAM
DESIGNED TO STRENGTHEN YOUR APPLICATION
AND PROVIDE YOU MEANINGFUL, REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE
FROM THE CROWD
Pre-Dental EFDA Program
DMDbound’s Pre-Dental Program is specifically designed for future applicants that want to strengthen their application and gain meaningful, real world dental experience. By the end of the 10 week program, you will earn your Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Certification and Radiology Certification, licensed by the Florida Board of Dentistry, that allows you to advance your clinical experiences by becoming a contributing member of any dental team.
The program includes 40 hours of direct chair side assisting at a state of the art dental practice, where you will work on real world patients alongside your clinical instructors. Upon completion of the 10 week program, your EFDA certification allows you to perform countless procedures directly on patients making you a great asset to any dental office or non-profit dental organization team.
These chair-side experiences will not only give you fantastic real world experiences to discuss in your Dental School application, but will help you excel in Dental School as a student. As an EFDA, you are an extension of the dentist. You’ll work side by side with the doctor in delivering hands-on patient care. Working as an EFDA is like taking the profession for a test drive, developing skills that will serve you for life, and getting paid for it all the while!
The only question is, are you DMDbound?
